InstarVision - The User-Friendly Camera Companion
InstarVision is an Android application developed by INSTAR Deutschland GmbH that allows you to view and control the video streams of your camera in real-time. With this app, you can add, edit, or delete cameras, change their settings, and save or share snapshots. The app offers Pan/Tilt/Zoom functions, swipe control, and controllable IR LEDs and I/O Relay (depending on the camera model). Moreover, you can activate or deactivate camera motion detection.
One of the best features of this user-friendly app is that it supports not only INSTAR cameras but also cameras from other popular brands like 7Links, ABUS, Allnet, Apexis, Axis, Bosch, Dericam, Digitus, D-Link, EasyN, Edimax, Elro, Foscam, Hama, JVC, Linksys, Mobotix, Panasonic, Samsung, Swann, Wanscam, and Wansview.
If you have any suggestions or problems with this app, you can contact the developer to extend the functions and supported cameras by providing documentation to your camera and test account if possible. The source code of InstarVision is available on GitHub, and it uses the FFmpeg code licensed under LGPLv2.1.
